The protection of your privacy when processing personal data is important to us. By default, when you visit our website, our web servers store the IP address of your Internet service provider, the website from which you visit us, the websites you visit, as well as the date and duration of your visit. This information is mandatory for the technical transfer of the website and for secure server operation. A personalized evaluation of this data does not take place.
If you send us data via the contact form, this data will be stored during the backup process on our servers. Your data will only be used by us to process your request and will be treated confidentially. We will not pass on your data to third parties.
Personal data
Personal data refers to information about you, such as your name, address, and email address. You do not have to provide any personal information to visit our website. In certain cases, however, we may require your name and address, as well as other information, in order to offer you the requested service.
The same applies if we supply information upon request or respond to your inquiries. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. In addition, we will only store the data that you have sent to us automatically or voluntarily.
When you use one of our services, we usually collect only the data necessary to provide that service. We may ask you for additional information on a voluntary basis. Whenever we process personal data, we do so to provide our service or pursue our legitimate business interests.
Automatically Stored Non-Personal Data
When you visit our website, we store certain information for administrative and technical reasons, such as the type and version of the browser used, the date and time of access, and the IP address.
This data is anonymized and used only for statistical purposes or to improve our website and online services. The anonymized data is stored separately from personal data on secure systems and cannot be assigned to individual persons. This ensures that your personal information remains protected at all times.
Applicant Tracking
We collect different types of information as part of an employment application. This may include your contact information as well as details about your education, work experience, and skills. You also have the option of submitting electronically stored documents such as certificates or cover letters.
We do not require any information that is prohibited under the “Allgemeinen Gleichbehandlungsgesetz“ (e.g., race, ethnic origin, gender, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual identity). We also do not ask for information regarding illness, pregnancy, political beliefs, trade union membership, or similar sensitive data. The same applies to content that may infringe the rights of third parties (e.g., copyright, press, or personal rights).
Your personal data will be collected, stored, processed, and used only for purposes related to your interest in current or future employment with us and the processing of your application. We will not pass on your data to third parties. As part of the online application process, data such as name, address, telephone number, and email address are collected to contact you regarding your application. If your application is successful, the data provided may be used for administrative purposes related to your employment. Your online application will be processed exclusively by authorized personnel. All employees responsible for data processing are required to maintain confidentiality. Third parties will not receive your personal data under any circumstances.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain the information you provide for up to six months to answer any questions related to your application. With your explicit consent, we may retain your data longer to consider you for future vacancies. Otherwise, your application data will be permanently deleted.
Cookies
When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files transferred from an internet server to your browser and stored on your hard drive. Only the internet protocol address is stored—no personal data. This information allows automatic recognition during your next visit, making the website easier to use.
You can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognized, you can decline cookies in your browser settings. The exact procedure can be found in your browser’s instructions. Please note, however, that declining cookies may restrict the functionality of some areas of our website.
Use of LinkedIn Conversion Tracking and Insight Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag is a lightweight JavaScript code added to our website to enable detailed campaign reporting and insights about visitors. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to track conversions, retarget website visitors, and gain additional insights about interactions with our LinkedIn ads.
The LinkedIn Insight Tag collects metadata such as IP address information, timestamps, and events (e.g., page views). All data is encrypted. The LinkedIn browser cookie remains stored until it is deleted or expires (six months after the last load of the Insight Tag).
You can opt out LinkedIn cookies on your LinkedIn settings page and also recommend their Cookie Policy for more information.
Use of YouTube
We use the provider YouTube to embed videos. Like most websites, YouTube also uses cookies to collect information about visitors. YouTube uses this data to capture video statistics, prevent fraud, and improve usability. It also connects to the Google DoubleClick network. Starting the video may trigger further data processing, over which we have no influence. For more information about privacy at YouTube, please refer to their privacy policy at: http://www.youtube.com/t/privacy_at_youtube
Use of Social Media Offerings
Our handling of your personal data in the context of our social media offerings is based on our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. For the provision of our social media offers, it is technically necessary to process certain personal data (e.g., the IP address; personal data that you have provided to the respective platform operator or to us).
As part of the necessary balancing of interests, we have weighed up your interest in the confidentiality of your personal data against our interest in providing social media services. Your interest in confidentiality is secondary to this. Otherwise, we would not be able to offer you our social media services.
Security Measures
We have taken technical and administrative measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation, and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers are obliged to comply with data protection regulations.
Whenever we collect and process personal information, it is encrypted before transfer. This ensures your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security practices are continuously improved, and our privacy policy is regularly updated.
Data Subject Rights
Please contact us at any time if you would like to know which personal data we store about you, or if you wish to have personal data corrected or deleted. You also have the right to restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR), the right to object (Art. 21 GDPR), and the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). For all such inquiries, please contact us directly.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy as necessary due to new technologies or legal requirements. Please ensure that you have the latest version. If significant changes are made, the updated version will be published on our website.
