Whilst we continue to capitalize on the strong footprint in Mobile Technology based on long-lasting relationship with leading brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple and Google, we are putting strong emphasis on the diversification of the business “beyond Mobile” as well as broadening the Service & Solution Scope from Repair & Support to more holistic end-2-end post sales solutions.

In 2020 we have started to build a new team to implement the new strategy. Since then, we have been awarded several new contracts and we have a need to further build and strengthen the team. B2X is looking for a Director Operations New Industries to concept, implement and run the widely outsourced fulfilment- or vendor network for the new industry segments, with focus on the verticals “Urban Mobility”, “Payment & Vending” and “Office Equipment”. The job holder has a holistic operational responsibility and works in close cooperation and alignment with the respective Sales & Business Development Team.

This entire undertaking is in a kind of “start-up mode” which requires a great deal of creativity, flexibility and hands-on mentality but provides at the same time room for self-responsibility and accountability

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as principal point of contact for all aspects of the Service Operations (Delivery) for multiple clients in the new segments.
  • Assess and select “fit-for-purpose” service partners for the B2X network together with the Sales Representatives, primarily for Onsite Services, Warehousing & Service-Logistics as well as centralized (back-end) repair.
  • Steer and control the ongoing service provision and operational KPI’s adherence of the fulfilment partners to ensure their performance meets the contracted service level agreements.
  • Analyze customer escalation activity and generate corrective actions to resolve and prevent future occurrences.
  • Conduct regular Onsite audits of the partners to control operational performance, drive continuous process improvement programs as well as control adherence to compliance and integrity.
  • Prepare and contribute to regular business and quality reviews with clients (… together with sales).
  • Safeguard a duly and in-time invoicing – bidirectional with clients and service partners in     cooperation with finance department.

  • Degree qualified and/or proven track record in business operations in the post sales industry
  • Deep understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics as well as Service- and Repair Operation
  • Proven ability to personally deliver consistently high standards of quality in a customer service focused delivery environment.
  • Commercially minded, cost-conscious, understand P&L.
  • Strong credibility with confidence and personal skills to develop good relationships both internally within the organization and external customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment and remote from piers.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
