B2X Rolls Out SMARTAPP on All Future Cat® Phone Devices

Bullitt Group Ups Customer Care Game for Rugged Phone Owners Globally

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and MUNICH, GERMANY – Feb 19, 2016 – B2X, the leading provider of customer care services for mobile devices, today announced that Bullitt Group, one of the fastest growing and largest privately owned technology companies in the UK has selected the B2X SMARTAPP as the embedded customer care application throughout its Cat® Phones range. This will enable Bullitt Group to enhance its management of the digital customer journey plus provide a superior consumer experience.

“We strive to provide our customers with unparalleled support from the point of purchase throughout the entire life of their device and SMARTAPP offers just that, plus equips us with the necessary insights to help us to continue perfecting the service experience.” said Oliver Schulte, CEO Bullitt Mobile.

B2X’s SMARTAPP offers consumers the preferred option of a self-help solution while, at the same time, connecting to all support channels, no matter the severity of the issue with the phone. This offering provides device diagnostics, remote care, a lost and found feature, direct support communication channel, data back-up and restore and full integration into the B2X SMARTCARE Technology Platform. Via the SMARTCARE Technology platform, pick-up, repair, parts ordering and delivery of the device is streamlined and interference with the customer’s digital life is minimized. Most importantly, it makes the status information available to consumers via the service ecosystem e.g. the call center and to Bullitt Group.

For Bullitt Group, this means ensuring a simplified, seamless customer experience, resulting in reduced costs to the company and boosted customer loyalty. Through the self-help capabilities of the SMARTAPP, many unnecessary repairs are avoided by helping the customer remotely, resulting in a more agile repair experience. All of these functions are integrated via SMARTCARE Technology with B2X’s global service partner network to shorten repair turnaround time for consumers if a repair needs to be handled.

“Bullitt is an innovation driver in the industry that understands the route to success is through a thoughtful and leading-edge consumer journey. The real time data, we provide to them throughout the process is the foundation for a great customer support experience,” said Dieter Weisshaar, Chief Commercial Officer of B2X. “We are a proud partner of such a game-changing company and look forward to offering their customers the ideal customer experience with our SMARTAPP.”

The B2X SMARTAPP will be officially available on all Cat Phones from June 2016 and will be showcased at the Bullitt Group stand CS80 at Mobile World Congress and the B2X booth S13 at the 4YFN Conference, in February 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.
