After-Sales BPO Expert Alfons Krauthausen to Become New Chief Executive Officer of B2X

B2X announces refocused company strategy and changes in the company’s executive leadership team

Munich – March 15, 2019 B2X, one of the leading providers of customer care solutions for smartphones and consumer electronics, announced today changes to the global leadership team and decisions taken on the company’s strategic direction for the upcoming financial year (April 2019 till March 2020).

Since its foundation in 2007, B2X has grown from a startup business into one of the leading providers of customer care solutions to the global consumer electronics industry. B2X employs more than 1,500 people worldwide and manages a customer care ecosystem with more than 500 trusted service partners in more than 140 countries. Many of the world’s most renowned brands in the consumer electronics industry such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Samsung and Xiaomi collaborate with B2X.

After continued rapid growth in the past years, both in financial and operational figures, B2X decided to install a transformation program. The goal of this program is to set the right basis and pace for continued business growth and launch appealing and innovative customer care solutions in the consumer electronics and IoT product service markets. As a consequence, and to support this transformation phase, B2X’s executive leadership team, Rainer Koppitz, Dr. Marc Achhammer and Phil Telfer have offered to hand over their responsibilities to a new executive management team.

With immediate effect, Alfons Krauthausen will assume the overall management responsibility leading B2X as Chief Executive Officer. Alfons Krauthausen has more than two decades of experience in the global customer care and business process outsourcing (BPO) industry. Having worked for leading companies in the after-sales service industry such as CTDI, Regenersis and Computacenter, he brings a wealth of experience to support B2X’s goal to become the leading after-sales BPO partner to electronics and technology companies around the world.

B2X CEO Alfons Krauthausen will be supported by Dion Carter as appointed B2X Group Finance Director. Dion is an accomplished finance professional with experience in high-growth and turnaround strategies within predominantly private equity owned BPO businesses across the after-sales service, manufacturing and contact center industries. Dion Carter’s experience will widely contribute to B2X’s organic top-line growth strategy, profitability increases and in strategic M&A situations.
